West Valley Little League

West Valley Little League is located on 96th Ave. behind Cottonwood Elementary in Yakima, Wa.  WVLL’s goals are to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and community pride, in addition to teaching the fundamentals of baseball to the youth who participate. 

Spring Baseball is offered for players Elementary-Middle School with registration beginning in January.  Regular season games begin after spring break and end at the beginning of June with All Stars selection for 10u, 11u, and 12u divisions immediately following. 

Juniors Division for 13 and 14 year olds starts in June and ends mid-July. Registration for Juniors is conducted in May. 

Player Divisions:

Juniors (Ages 13-14)  - $150

Majors (Ages 11-12) - $125

Minors (Ages 8-10)  - $125

Rookies (Ages 6-7)  - $100

Tee-Ball (Ages 4-5) - $50

2024 USA Bat Regulations

Make Sure Your Bat Is A USA Bat! 

As of January 1, 2018, the USA Baseball Bat Standard was implemented. Little League-approved baseball bats that were approved for use for the 2017 season will no longer be acceptable for use in any Little League game or activity as of January 1, 2018. For more information on the USABat standard and a complete list of bats approved through the USABat Standard, visit usabat.com.

For the 2023 Little League Season WVLL will provide 1-2 team bats per team. Any bat that does not have the USA Baseball sticker may not be used in Little League practices or games. 

Current one-piece solid wood bats are also approved, whether they have the USA Baseball logo or not.
